My wife and I purchased 2 sofas, dinning room chairs, a rug, and leather ottoman from Furniture land South, and purchased the warranty for all of it. It was delivered in 10 weeks, which was when it was promised. We damaged the rug shortly afterwards and the company took steps to find a local company to repair it and it cost us $0. Do not get this protection plan. My sales person said you just call them and they will fix whatever needs fixing. NOT. They are difficult to work with and have a lot of stipulations. You pay money in case some thing happens to your furniture and probably won't get it fixed. Save your money. The sales people really push this service but they are not customer friendly and the people at furnitureland south never mention how difficult it is to work... Read more

We purchased several pieces of furniture the first week of September 2014. The pieces are beginning to arrive. The first delivery went well. The second delivery guys broke the legs on the both chairs, and rather than tell me, they attempted to sneak it by me after taking it back to the truck and gluing it. How dishonest! DO NOT order fron this company. They will tell uou anything to get a sale and your money. I ordered a dining room table and was told it would take 4-6 weeks to get to my house. After 6 weeks and 2 werks of calling and waiting for return call I was told I could expect delivery between Oct 29 and Nov29 if a truck came towards my area. They suck. Our sales rep andcustomer service arebeyond awful. They ordered the wrong parts to a bed and clueless to install. . And now the customer service refuses to return calls. They don't seem to care at all. Beyond angry . I've had to follow up with three calls to them. They don't return and I told them how to fix it. They keep passing the buck between one person and another. This is an embarrassment Add comment

Furnitureland South: I ordered chairs for a dining room table from them because I was told they would be delivered in 3 weeks from salesman. 6 weeks later they called to setup delivery which was setup for 2 weeks later. (8 weeks isn't 3 weeks but okay...). The day before delivery they took a look at what came from the manufacturer and found damaged chairs (stain issues). WE WERE LIED TO ABOUT OUR DEPOSIT,THEY WOULD REFUND IF WE DIDNT PURCHASE FURNITURE WITH THEM.YOU WILL NEVER GET A DEPOSIT BACK FROM FURNITURE LAND,EVEN IF THEY NEVER ORDERED YOUR FURNITURE . We bought a sofa a couple yrs ago. Pleasant service from professional, knowledgeable sales rep. Was delivered to Orlando Fla when promised (was bought off the floor). After a week or 2, my sweet wifey (55 yrs on 7-28!) decided it wasn't "right". Emailed the rep. Couple weeks later he emailed they'd pick it up and refund cost. i ordered a sideboard. they delivered the wrong color. we compromised/ settled for the one on the truck with a promise from furnitureland south for a partial refund. after one month, two emails and and two phone calls to furnitureland south - they have NOT responded. ok... mistakes happen. the real measure is how they respond to the mistake. they don't respond. i would not recommend furnitureland south. the delivery team was professional and... sofa and love seat arrived summer of 2012. Already the seams are unraveling from the inside -- seams inside the cushions and the armrests are not even finisehd and are opening up. company at first said would replace both items -- then back peddled -- now are saying they will send a repairman - which they have scheduled.
